Mathilde de Jenlis comes from a musical family, sharing her passion for music with her older brother Axel, a professional ‘cellist and her younger sister, Héloïse, a professional harpist. (For their biographies, please consult Axel de Jenlis, Héloïse de Jenlis). Together they form the Trio Jenlis, playing in concerts and festivals around Belgium, France, Ireland and elsewhere.

In 2019 The Trio Jenlis recorded a CD "French Music for Harp, Violin and Cello"

The Trio Jenlis offers a varied programme that is always appreciated by audiences. Conceived as a musical journey, their concerts explore the repertoire from the pre-Baroque to the 20th century, with each piece or section being introduced and commented by Axel de Jenlis (MPhil. in Music Studies, Cantab.)

Mathilde also gives recitals and concerts as a duo, playing either with her sister, Héloïse or with her brother, Axel.

As a duo, as with their trio, their programme is always composed of original pieces, as well as their own arrangements.
