Héloïse de Jenlis

B i o g r a p h y

Héloïse de Jenlis was born on 2 December 1994 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France.

She started playing the harp when she was nine under the tutelage of Annie Lavoisier. She was first admitted as a young talent in the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. In 2017, she graduated with a Master’s degree in Performance (with distinction) from the Royal Conservatory in Brussels

She had the opportunity to take part in training courses and master classes given by M.CL. Jamet, Isabelle Moretti, Xavier de Maistre, Marielle Nordmann, Frédérique Cambreling, and others.

She was awarded multiple prizes such as : the second prize at the Lille International Harp Competition, the first prize in the UFAM Competition in Paris, the first prize in the Rovere d’Oro - Giovanni Talenti Competition and the first prize in the French Harp Competition.

She has been regularly performing concertos as a soloist accompanied by orchestras such as the “Brussels youth symphony orchestra” and the “Chappelle Musicale de Tournai”.

 

Heloïse has performed in many international festivals: the Brussels Summer Festival Classissimo, the Festival Est- Ouest, the Festival de Wallonie, the Musiq3 Festival in Flagey, and others.

Since 2014 Heloïse has been the solo harp of European Union Youth Orchestra.
