Orchestra

Mathilde de Jenlis has played with a variety of orchestras. She has been Konzertmeister (leader) with the Brussels Youth Symphony Orchestra (in 2011), with the Dublin Institute of Technology Orchestra (in 2016) and the Requiem 1916 Orchestra in Dublin, among others.

Mathilde graduated in 2015 with a Master’s degree in Event Management (with distinction), from the Institute of Advanced Social Communication (IHECS) in Brussels. Mathilde’s Master’s thesis was entitled ''Investigating Marketing Strategies to Attract Larger Audiences to Classical Music Concerts”.
Mathilde is the orchestral manager of the Est-Ouest Chamber Orchestra (East-West Chamber Orchestra), based in Belgium. The orchestra gives over ten performances a year in various concert halls around Belgium, such as at the internationally renowned Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo, the Wolubilis Theatre in Brussels and the Ferme du Biéreau in Louvain-la-Neuve.
Mathilde also managed Orchestras in Dublin, which has played in major venues around Ireland, such as in Dublin Castle, Dublin City Hall and Knock Cathedral.
